On-Site Strength Training
We bring our Buffalo One Mobile Fitness Center to your business two or three times per week to put your employees through a 15 minute stretching and strength building workout.

The program can be scheduled at the beginning of a shift, adjacent to breaks or lunch hour, or end of the shift. There is no need to change clothes due to the resistance nature of the training.

At each session (15 minutes per employee), under the supervision of a Buffalo Express Fitness Trainer, the employee performs a series of stretching and strength building exercises at six exercise stations:

Baseline Evaluation
Your employees will be given an upfront “baseline” evaluation of their current “vital statistics”(weight, BMI, Blood Pressure, etc) and current strength capability and a strength test at their first session.

At each session (15 minutes per employee), under the supervision of a Buffalo Express Fitness Trainer, the employee performs a series of stretching and strength building exercises at six exercise stations:

Stretching
At the beginning of each session for about three minutes, it is important for your employees stretch their upper body (laterals, back muscles) and lower body (calf and hamstring muscles). This tells your body to get ready for exercise on the circuit course.

Exercise Bike
Your employee then jumps on the Total Body Exercise bike to raise your cardiovascular level as a warm up. After one minute, the employee moves to the next machine.

Leg Extension/Leg Curls
At this station, your employee does 30 seconds of low weight/high rep leg extensions to strengthen the quadriceps on the front of the thigh and 30 seconds of low weight/high rep leg curls to strengthen the hamstring muscles on the back of the thigh. Strengthening these muscles improves lifting and carrying capability.

Multi-Press
The next station on the circuit course is the multi-press to strengthen the shoulder deltoids and chest pectoral muscles. Your employee does a full 60 seconds of low weight/high rep bench presses. Strengthening these muscles improves above their over the head lifting and pushing capability.

Biceps/Triceps
Your employee then moves to the biceps/triceps curling machine doing 30 seconds of low weight/high rep front curls to strengthen the biceps and 30 seconds of low weight/high rep back curls to strengthen the triceps. Strengthening these muscles improves arm strength for lifting and throwing.

Lat Pull Down/Low Row
The next 60 seconds are spent doing low weight/high rep lateral pull downs to strengthen the Latissimmus dorsi muscle in the middle back or low weight/high rep rowing to strengthen the Trapezius muscles of the upper back. Strengthening these muscles improves pulling heavy wheeled carts and pulling down heavy objects from above.

Hoist Hip Sled/Hack Combo
The last 60 seconds on the course are the Hoist Hip Sled to strengthen all the major muscle groups used in heavy lifting such as your calves and the Gluteals in the buttock. Plus it helps teach you proper lifting techniques (back straight, lift with legs).

Cool Down Stretching
The last couple of minutes is spent stretching while your muscles are warm to reap the lasting benefits of your exercise session by elongating your muscles giving you greater range of motion.

Back to Work
In 15 minutes the employee goes back to work.

At the end of each month, a “report card” will be generated to demonstrate employee strength and fitness improvement and reviewed with company management.

Other Training/Services
Buffalo Express Fitness also offers other specialized training to assist your employees in their overall wellness and fitness.

Tai Chi: Tai chi is a Chinese martial art that is primarily practiced for its health benefits, including a means for dealing with tension and stress. Tai chi emphasizes complete relaxation, and is essentially a form of meditation, or what has been called "meditation in motion." Unlike the hard martial arts, tai chi is characterized by soft, slow, flowing movements that emphasize force, rather than brute strength. Though it is soft, slow, and flowing, the movements are executed precisely. We can provide Tai Chi classes at your business on a regular schedule over a twelve week period.

Yoga: Yoga is a holistic system of refining the body, the mind and the spirit in unison. This is a natural way of developing qualities such as fitness, discipline, confidence, awareness, intuitiveness and intelligence gradually leaving one contained, more stable and more contented. We can provide Yoga classes at your business on a regular schedule over an eight week period.

Massage: Massage Therapy is an ancient healing art that through hands-on manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues of the body, a person's health and well-being are restored. Massage is a self-nurturing technique that provides deep relaxation and stress reduction with relief of muscle spasm and tension and brings a relaxed state of alertness. Our massage therapist can come to your business and give massages to your workers.

Educational Seminars
Buffalo Express Fitness also offers a series of educational seminars to assist your employees in their overall wellness and fitness.

Nutrition for Hard Workers: There are many fad diets out there based on questionable science. Our nutritionists can teach your employees the straight talk about the nutrition your body needs to support hard, physical exercise experienced by many at work and to reach and maintain your proper weight. This six week program is available before, during or after your normal work hours.

Stress Management: If your employees have low morale, short tempers and are expressing job dissatisfaction, they may have workplace related stress. We offer an 8 week program to teach your employees the causes of stress, their physiological response to stress and how to manage it. By properly managing their stress, they will experience less conflict with family members, co-workers and management, increase their capacity to create positive outcomes in their relationships with others. Your company will decrease absenteeism, increase teamwork and productivity.

Smoking Cessation: There are many over-the-counter smoking cessation products available from gum/patches to herbal supplements. But smoking is a hard habit to overcome. We offer a support program consists of four one-hour, small group sessions and is designed to give your employees the tools and information they need to make their stop-smoking experience positive and successful. Many smokers are more likely to quit smoking and continue with not smoking if they participate in a group.
